Indestructible Competition 2013: The ultimate test of strength for VARTA Consumer

The slogan of the Indestructible lights from VARTA Consumer packs a real punch – precise, strong and, of course, indestructible. In our Indestructible competition starting in August, we want you to find creative ways to put the strength of the lights to the test. Total prize money of € 8,000 is up for grabs for the most creative ideas.

This year is a real challenge for testers: The extremely strong Indestructible lights can handle almost anything that’s thrown at them. Thanks to their durable and high-tech design, the lights can even survive a fall of up to nine meters. From September to November 2013, VARTA is offering customers the chance to really put the lights to the test. Participants will be able to register online at http://www.built-to-survive.com from August 8, 2013. There are 150 Indestructible lights to win just for entering, so send in your own personal strength test now!

 

Register, test, and win!

Once you’ve registered, it’s all about letting your creativity run loose. Participants can develop their own ideas of how to run the rule of the Indestructible lights and record their efforts on video. Then you simply upload your personal test video to www.built-to-survive.com between September and the end of November 2013.

In December 2013, the best test video will be chosen in an open vote. Simply visit www.built-to-survive.com and vote for your favorite. The video with the most votes wins, simple as that, and the person behind it will take home a cash prize of € 3,000. The second and third placed videos receive € 2,000 and € 1,000 respectively. In addition, an expert jury will award a € 2,000 prize to what they consider the craziest test idea.

Last but not least, anyone who misses out on one of the 150 free test lights and uses their own Indestructible for their test will, of course, receive a replacement after they send in their video.
